The Diet Diary – Day 105

26th May, 2008

soulmate team.jpg
HERE I am with the Soulmate diet and fitness team at the Diary Party on Friday night.
From left to right we have Fiona, foodie extraordinnaire who prepared all my lovely nutritious meals on my diet, Max the urban guru who did my life-coaching sessions, then there’s Johnny, personal trainer, then me in the blue dress next to Christian, the big boss, John the physio and then last but by no means least Mikey, personal trainer.
The party all went rather well in the end, with everyone seeming to have a good time.
But it was also a bit of a bizarre night for me because it was the first time that many of my friends and contacts had seen the end results of my three months diet and fitness project. I know it sounds mad, but I was quite literally besieged with compliments about my weight loss. Some people looked genuinely shocked by my transformation, and others insisted they had not even realised it was me. I don’t think I look that different, but then I suppose it’s all been quite gradual for me. Anyhoo, now the next battle commences:- trying to stay on the diet straight and narrow all by myself. It’s not looking great for the week ahead as I’m off on hols so plenty of opportunity for pigging out I fear. Ah well, I’m planning to go on lots of long walks up hills so maybe that will balance things out…

That is a lovely photograph. You did really well and it sounds like you had lovely meals and the great thing they were prepared for you. It must have been an excellent diet and you had so many people helping you which is great.
The party all went rather well in the end, with everyone seeming to have a good time. I bet your friends got a shock when they saw how much weight you had lost. It must have been wonderful hearing all those compliments it must have made it all worthwhile for you. I am sure you will be able to stick to the diet and regulate the foods you are allowed to eat. You have come such a long way. You say you are going to go on long walks up mountains well that will keep the weight off. As long as you keep exercising I am sure you will do fine. You have done well up till now and look fantastic so a big congratulations to you and keep up the good work!
