Wimbledon: Scorchio Saturday

MASSIVE queues outside Wimbledon today as the sun streams down.
Sadly, it looks as if thousands will struggle to get anywhere near entry to the grounds
Fans arriving to join the queue for ground tickets in mid-morning were told they would not gain admittance until this evening, if at all.
It’s always sad to see mothers or fathers with an excited and expectant son or daughter told they won’t get in.
Something I wish those corporate ticket holders who leave acres of seats empty on Centre Court could see.
They manage to fit in an hour or two of tennis in between a long lunch and tea.
While real fans who would treasure those seats are locked out.
