  1. so from the original. much vaunted (but highly dubious) “fact” of only 1 in 10 of the GM population will pay….to the actual only 1 in 10 of GM population actually voted for it.

  2. The 1 in 10 will pay mantra was absolute rubbish!
    Graham Stringer pointed out 2 out of 3 households have a car – sounds about right to me.
    If someone in your family had a car and you used PT, you would vote NO to save your family member £1200+ year.
    A tax on getting to work is never going to have an easy job of getting past any one with a bit of common sense.
    I wonder if Dicky will resign over the £34 million he’s blown?
